Come join JC Airoldi for four days of painting and fun on Maine's stunning Monhegan Island. (Some outdoor painting experience helpful)
JC will help you learn how to choose the subject or scene you will paint and how to simplify what you see into a dynamic, well-balanced composition. We will focus on values, shapes, edges and color as they relate to painting working wet into wet to complete a painting study in one session. The benefits of painting outdoors/indoors will be discussed, as well as how to design and build a painting that carries intentional impact.This workshop will be fun, yet challenging - the best way to learn. (12 students maximum)
